The 2012 Godchicks Conference embraced the theme of LOVE and extended that ethos to every design decision—including a commitment to recycled and reclaimed materials. Generous donations from Spiral Paper Tube & Core provided discarded cardboard tubing, which became a central element of the installation.

Paper and cardboard were used structurally and decoratively throughout the space. We created approximately 12 life-size spiral-tube pillars, strategically placed in high-traffic areas to define and enliven the environment. Tabletop decorations were crafted from old catalogs, stage letters spelling “LOVE” were built from reused cardboard, and reclaimed wood from prior projects was incorporated into the stage design.

Following the three-day event, all materials were carefully deconstructed and recycled, reflecting the conference’s sustainable, zero-waste philosophy while reinforcing the message of love in both concept and practice.
