Interior Lobby Creative Brief.
The church moved into a new space, the requirement was to create an environment that feels contemporary. The pastors referenced modern coffee houses, woodsy-chic. Currently, space was all drywall with a few angular addons. After the initial walk-through, I took note of where projected foot traffic would be and focused on a large wall opposite the main entry. I was influenced by 1970's wooden wall paneling and adopted that slat-wood styling.
The logo was cut out from maple door skin paneling (by hand no CNC).
