Live Well Ride+Run

In 2011, I registered for my first endurance sport from a friend, who later became my wife. The event was Aids Life Cycle - a 545mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 7 days. To participate, you need to fundraise for the charity. I started marketing myself through this blog as a tool to engage people and keep them interested. I created a brand to promote the charity and to help me reach fundraising goals.

The idea behind Live Well Ride was a tool for fundraising that developed into a lifestyle change. After spending time in the community, making friends and seeing the need, I became more involved and passionate towards cycling and helping others. I started making incentive gifts for people who donated. Custom silk screened tee-shirts, ramequin succulent planters, stickers and wine glasses. A holistic approach towards my relationship with my donors.
