The Adventure Project
The Adventure Project — Godchicks Conference
The concept for this project centered on adventure in women’s lives—from grand milestones like a wedding day or a first date, to the small, everyday discoveries of a busy career woman or a mother of four. By highlighting the extraordinary in the ordinary, we sought to transform daily moments into memorable experiences, drawing inspiration from Anthropologie’s playful and whimsical aesthetic.
Using this concept as a foundation, we designed the main areas of the conference—Green Room, Inner Sanctuary, and Network Lounge—while integrating mini-vignettes and motifs throughout the space. At the previous Godchicks, we noticed that women loved interacting with the sets and capturing photos with friends and family. This insight informed our approach this year: each vignette was designed to be both experiential and photo-ready, allowing attendees to create shareable memories.
Some vignettes included interactive props, such as a removable tiara and veil in the wedding day vignette, inviting guests to step into the narrative of adventure. Strategically placed in high-traffic areas, these installations reinforced the theme while encouraging engagement, storytelling, and playful exploration throughout the conference.
